COMMERCIAL ITEM DESCRIPTION
OVENS, BARING AND ROASTING, FORCED CONVECTION, ELECTRIC
The General Services Administration has authorized the use of this commercial item description in preference to MIL-o-43633 (see 5.6).
1. CLASSIFICATION
1.1 Classification. This commercial item description covers forced convection electric ovens in the following types, sizes, and styles as specified (see 5.2).
Type I, one oven
Type II, two ovens
Size A, standard depth oven cavity
Size B, extra deep oven cavity
Style 1, 208 volts, 60 hertz, 3 phase
Style 2, 220/380 volts, 50 hertz, 3 phase, four wire system
Style 3, 240/415 volts, 50 hertz, 3 phase, four wire system
1.2 CID based part identification number (PIN). A document based PIN to identify types, sizes and styles of items included in section 5. This identification numbering procedure is for Government purposes and does not constitute a requirement for the contractor.
