The General Services Administration has authorized the use of this commercial item description in preference to MIL-G-43817.
1. CLASSIFICATION
1.1 Classification. This commercial item description covers size items as specified in table I (see 5.2)
1.2 Part identification number. The part identification number shall consist of the commercial item description number, and the item number as follows:
AA50008A – 1
AA50008A = CID number
1 = Item number
2. SALIENT CHARACTERISTICS
2.1 Design and construction. The frankfurter grills shall have an electric motor driven mechanism driving heated rollers for cooking frankfurters. Each grill shall be equipped with at least eight rotating rollers, with at least half of them heated. A grease drip pan, removable without the use of tools, shall be provided to prevent grease from seeping into the drive mechanism. The grills shall not exceed 19 inches deep by 10-1/2 inches high (see table I).
