Adapters, pans and covers. Pans and covers shall be stainless steel. The size and quantity of pans for each size hot food table shall be as specified in table I. All pans shall be furnished with covers.

Standard compliance. The hot food table shall comply with American National Standards Institute No.Z83.14 and the National Sanitation Foundation Standard No. 4.
Identification plate. In addition to the marking and identification requirements of ANSI No.Z83.14, the identification plate shall include the contract number and national stock number.
Certification. The contractor shall certify that the product offered meets the salient characteristics of the description and conforms to the producer’s own drawings, specifications, standards, and quality assurance practices, and is the same as the product sold in the commercial marketplace. The Government reserves the right to require proof of such conformance prior to first delivery and thereafter as may be otherwise provided for under the provisions of the contract. Evidence of NSF certification shall be accomplished in one of the following: “Listing of Food Service Equipment” or display the NSF seal on the finished tables, or a certification issued by NSF under their special one-time contract certification, or a certified test report by an independent testing laboratory.
Packaging.
A. Packaging. The bone dust removing machine shall be preserved and packaged in accordance with commercial practice.
B. Packing. Packing shall be in accordance with commercial packing complying with Uniform Freight Classification or National Motor Freight Classification, as applicable.
C. Marking. Commercial markings are acceptable, provided the following information is included:
