COMMERCIAL ITEM DESCRIPTION
RANGE, ELECTRIC, TWO BURNER
The General Services Administration has authorized the use of this commercial item description.
1. CLASSIFICATION
1.1 Classification. This commercial item description covers two types of ranges as follows (see 5.2):
Type I – Modular
Type II – Freestanding
1.2 Part identification number (PIN). The part identification number shall consist of the commercial item description number and the type number as follows:
A-A-52064 – I
A-A-52064 = CID Number
I = Type
2. SALIENT CHARACTERISTICS
2.1 Design and construction.
2. 1.1 Type I ranges. Type I ranges shall be designed so as to mount on an accessory stand or for counter installation, as specified (see 5.2). Ranges shall have 300 series stainless steel fronts, sides, and backs. The range shall be 13 inches wide (maximum) by 39 inches deep (maximum) by 20 inches high
